I had both Lyme disease (from a tick bite) and environmental illness/mold hypersensitivity.
After losing most of my belongings and having trouble finding an apartment that I could tolerate in the humid Northeast, I decided to try what Erik Johnson had described regarding mold avoidance, and I moved to the desert. I saw marked improvements including greater exercise tolerance, regaining the ability to drive, and an improved immune system and personality.
I'm not currently pursuing avoidance at an extreme level, but avoiding mold at a moderate level. Living out West in a low-mold building continues to be valuable.
Mold proved to be something that no other treatment could completely compensate for unless I avoided it, and avoidance has enabled all my other treatments to be more effective.
